Damn, what grade are you in? And over in Ontario they have grade 12 right? I failed gym because I skipped 4 classes and failed the final test. I get enough excercise, I'm just not a big fan of organized sports

Grade 10
Yup, we have grade 12 here. I was surprised I actually passed gym. I didn't hand in the summative project and got this big lecture from the teacher about it being the different between passing and failing. Yet I pass with a grade in the 70s? I was confused.

yeah, they tend to push you like that! At least you have time left to get more credits. Since I live in Aylmer, we only have up to grade 11 so we have to make all our credits in 2 years. I had 6 above limit, which was pretty sweet. Only class I failed was Economics.
Well I'm out. Gonna throw on some Sam Cooke and play Final Fantasy 6. Have a good night

drinking 5, 6 beers, a bit hard liquor
this evening probably will start with a concert and end with a party. I'll also try to be kept informed about the games. I tipped Eng:Par 0:0 Tri:Swe 3:1 (or something like that) Arg: Civ 2: 1 (or something like that) |

i'm tipping trinidad & tobago to be the team that will suffer the biggest defeat in this tournament, either against sweden or england. they showed their play-off match against bahrain (i think?) on dutch tv (because t&t's coach is a dutchman) and it was probably the poorest game i've ever seen... i can't imagine they have drastically improved since then.
but secretly i'm hoping for them to reach the second round of course. |

i wouldn't even call it a surprise if cote d'ivore advances to the second round. they were runner-ups in the african nations cup and are the best african team in my opinion. they'll have to be on good form though.
