I wonder if anyone likes this American composer who died prematuraly (well, in his early 40's) of a drug induced flight out of the window. An influence on a number of other people through his classes at The New School in New York, he could count people like Joseph Byrd, John Cage, Harold Budd and Dick Higgins as scholars. Anyway, check out his Pastoral Symphony if you have an interest in this sort of music or the record below. Well worth it.
