I picked up the single last month, the title track is cool though I've heard itbefore somewhere. The B-side (not on the album) features a Mitch Mitchell vocal which is weird because Jimi's guitar is so obvious throughout, and then Mitchell starts singing...
My understanding is most of these tracks had been released in different formats over the years but this was how the album most likely would have looked if released by Hendrix. Some of the late period concerts I've heard are incredible. Anybody who says Hendrix is overrated is a moron. But I bet that person has a favorite thport'th thtar. |
