When I saw Jesu last year it was a deadly boring live experience. I may as well have been at home listening to one of the CDs. The music is great, but it's not necessarily something that you have to experience live.

are they couch rock? like explosions in the sky or bardo pond or any of a million bands that are way better when sitting on a couch with your bong in hand? I think i am gonna go.

I've never heard the phrase couch rock before, but, based on your explanation, yes, I think they're couch rock.

me and my man sozavac came up with " couch rock" to describe bands like that. we saw explosions in the sky open for fugazi and the contrast was insane.
other bands I term couch rock Pele explosions in the sky bardo pond GYBE! silver mt zion post rock bands mostly. ha!
