Anyone wanna talk about how phenomenal this album is? I'm not, in fact I'm not afraid to say it's the best thing Chasny has ever done. The songs are just beautiful. Primitive and tribalist folk chantings that make use of both accoustic and electronic instruments. "Warm Earth, which ive been told" is probably my favorite song on the record, the middle section with a single synth drone emanating slowly throughout while an organ (i think) builds up. Every song but one is over 15 minues, and the album doesn't drag. Ambitious record.

Yeah it's really good, definitely. His earlier stuff (which the album is comprised of -- I'm sure you know that) is definitely better. He's very consistent, though... I love the more long, drawn-out stuff definitely.
