anyone here know this band? theyre fucking excellent, or were. im not sure if theyre still a band or not (if someone could let me know, thatd be great) i first heard about them through blastitude a few years back (thank the lorf for blastitude) and knew i had to check them out. theyre from the uk, and are at thier core, a punk rock band. but believe me, you aint heard punk like this. they mix thier fucked up brand of punk with the density and brutal sound layers reminescent of somethin like to live and shave in la (another favorite band of mine) as well as some good ol pop melodies and well placed samples to make some of the most brutally original music ever. the bands lyrics are awesome, tons of band history and mythologies along with more "anti capitalism" and fuck the system slogans than has ever been heard in 30 plus years of punk (many of the members have been imprisoned). i totally forgot about this band for a while, buit i was just sorting through my collection and stumbled upon thier record 'shergar is home safe and well', and it still sounds great. i suggest everyone check out this band.

My friend Emil put out some releases for them in the 90s. Interesting outfit for sure.
