I don't really get what's so entertaining about TV in comparison to the interweb.
Most shows on television now are uninformative and pointless, whereas on the internet I have the power to choose exactly what I want to do, since it's much more broad than TV. It's filled with commercialism, Reality TV shows, and I disagree with the method they use to expose music artists on music networks, because it leads people to tonnes of bias opinions in regards to what music is "cool" or not. Same with radio. I don't do either. |

Jeanine Turner, is that her name? She IS hot. I totally dig brunettes with blue eyes. If I swung that way, I'd be all over that like white on rice.
I have an absurd crush on Ed. He's so painfully awkward, you have to love him. To document my geekiness, I own all Joel episodes of Northern Exposure on DVD. |

I completely shut down tv channels around 2 years ago. I'm feeling really better!
I was bored and bothered about all that shitty opinions, jousted notices and so on.. it was choked me and it was totally negative. I dont read newspapers cause they are very near to the television, full of opinions and not objective news.I'm keeping information from some good websites and a little bit from some radio channels ran from people I esteem and they have a view near mine of the facts and I support their solutions or just what they are saying. |

Well, I don't think any source of news can be objective really. That's the way it is. You just have to be aware of the potential bias of the sources you are looking at.

yes nothing could be really objective I know, cause you always have to take a position but I can hear something that I approve in this way and grow my ideas.

I probably watch TV everyday. Mostly sports, but there are a couple shows I always try to catch, like the Gilmore Girls, Family Guy, American Dad (which is mysteriously absent right now).

I'm 25y old and I have seen tv everyday for 20 years and I'm fresh and alive.
then I dont want to condemn everything into the TV. just everything that could be dangerous. we have to defend our brain! so I have to move my ass and search news mainly on internet cause if I stay on a sofa I'm vulnerable. then I dont know how many kind of channel there are in your countries but I'm sure that the TV is mainly used as they usually do into my country, it's something psychiatric ..... |
