Love, Love, Morphine. Cure for Pain is my favorite. Also, Bootleg Detroit/ they released it after Mark died. sounds like they would have been amazing to see live..

I totally came into this thread thinking this was a morphine-abusers thread, where one could discuss their taking of morphine for release of sexual inhibitions, etc.

yes morphine were sensational live, better than on album as they should have been too, one of their best tracks is kerouac on the tribute which lee produced called kicks, joy, darkness

morphine was a cool band. I got into them bc of that movie spank the monkey. Yes is my favorite. And they were an excellent live band.

beautiful, sad music by one of the greatest bands of the 90s..

"cure for pain" and "like swimming" are very decent albums, but there are also compilations and rarities et cetera..

when browsing through old vinyls or second hand CDs, if you come across anything by morphine, i'd suggest you buy it..

enjoy it alone, preferably with a bottle of booze and soft lights..

I fucking love morphine. been rocking them since 1992.
mark sandman wnet out like a rock god though, heart attack on stage, while rockin.

My favorite album is CURE FOR PAIN
\although yes and like swimming are fantastic as well.

I love how the sax player woudl play two saxophones at the same time.
