That was a really nice listen, I have to say. I love this kind of thing when it's done well (like this), whether it's guitars or electronica or whatever. Thanks for the download. I love the fact that feedback/noise/whatever is so unwelcome to many, but can sound so relaxing andd ambient to me.
edit: I like the progression of the three different stages, as I see it; the stuff that starts to appear at about 4:35 into the track is excellent.

to be honest there isnt a tuning, some of the five strings on the guitar are in tune but the bottom ones are very low to give the bass sounds. the start is me just banging the guitar against things to get a sound, nothing like a bit of physical guitar abuse to get the creative juices flowing!
i did this very quickly, maybe 20 minutes to set up the eqipment and get it going. i dont generally like to dwell and think too much about it because it destroys the moment and i end up hating that stuff anyway. it was very loud though, so some of the stuff loses its edge due to my really poor microphone and the general volume. thanks for listening you guys. |
