I start to feel weird and loopy and see the beauty in life's craziness. I read people's words and feel them...then I fall asleep and can't remember anything that happened since the pill kicked in the night before.

Benadryl works for me, although not all people react to it like I do. Obviously I haven't taken it tonight. I really need to get into a habit of taking it each night.
I guess benadryl is non habit forming. Or I'm just a strong willed person. Or lazy. |

Dude.
I took it on a car ride once. I had these wierd hallucinations and I tried to open the car door to get out. No good. If you can't sleep, rub one off or something.

I'm not surprised.
It's the only dual-layer tablet that works in two distinct ways: The first layer dissolves quickly, to help you get to sleep fast. The second layer dissolves slowly, to help you stay asleep. Hi gorgeous.

Well hello there darling. I would ask how you fare, but I'd hate to derail the topic from SJIND's anithistamine addiction.

my gramma takes it and does all sorts of crazy things and doesn't remember. i called her one night after she'd taken it and she started talking to someone. i asked her who she was talking to and she said "patty." and i said, "gramma, i'm here." and she said "not YOU patty, the patty who's here with me" and then she started asking me why there were so many bunnies and rabbits, and could we just go to the party to get away from them. she thought she was going to get together with my grampa, who she'd divorced 40 years ago and my uncle, who died eight years ago. and then she has no recollection whatsoever about the conversation or any of it.
she also gets up and makes really weird food concoctions and eats them and doesn't remember. but she can't sleep without it so she still takes it. |

I haven't slept a full night's sleep without the aid of some kind of drug in years. I should probably go to a sleep specialist.
Great Gramma story, Patty! |

Try Sleep MD. It's an OTC drug, and it's effective, without giving you a sleep hangover.

Looks like a lot of people on this forum are on some kind of drug.
Mostly sedatives, by the looks of it.

my girlfriend's dad used to take it and he would hallucinate and go nutty at her brother. one night, we were playing nintendo wii at his house and he walked up and stared at the tv like he was witnessing the second coming of christ, while he was on it. the worst part is that he didn't really remember it in the morning. bad stuff, that ambien.
