Portishead - Live 1998: Sour Times/Roads limited 10" (December 6)

Well, His Kendrickness surprised the world (outside of SYG that is) with an album drop last week. There was a time when this was cause for much critical thinking/duscussion. (I thought To Pimp A Butterfly was brilliant.) But now it seems to be all about diss tracks and Drake.

(To be clear, I could not whistle a Drake tune to save my life.)

This is stupid, though. I know not many albums are released in December, but what is the damn rush — publish/post your lists the first week of January or something.

Actually, both Exclaim! and Pitchfork put Cindy Lee at #1, and I'm ashamed to say that I know fuckall about her/them. But sampling the monolithic Diamond Jubilee has me salivating.

Note to self to check out that Milan W. album that's ranked on number 44 here.
He used to be the second guitarist in Flying Horseman, one of my favourite bands. Actually listening now, the backup vocals on some tracks are by one of the women in that band.
I only heard one and a half track so far, until now I still prefer Flying Horseman...
I find Milan's voice a bit boring actually
