As it happens, when I went to the shops to buy a French stick I discovered that the Eat Skull record was waiting on the doormat for me along with the new Sic Alps record (both only cdr promos, alas). Having listened to them both once or twice each, as is possible with them both being sub 30 minutes, my initial impression is that they are both tops but the Sic Alps record is the toppermost....so far.

which sic alps record? i keep reading about how awesome trhey are but i've been underwhelmed by the hanful of songs i've heard by them

No, the one I have is the one on Siltbreeze which has either just come out or is out quite soon.

im still trying to wrap my head around all these amazing wierd rock/punk bands. i mean, im still obsessed with pink reason's 'cleaning the mirror', and thats been out for like a year already.
