Except for their self-titled album because I basically challenge anyone who grew up in the Nirvana era to look me in the eye and claim they weren’t pumped as hell about that Nirvana-meets-Sugar masterstroke of an alt-rock album.
And Colour & the Shape has some nice moments too. Like My Hero.
But yeah, for the last 20 years they’ve been one of the most consistently basic ass bands in the world. Can’t say I hate them because who hates Dave Grohl legitimately? But they represent the laziest kind of barely there stadium alt, blah.
