this is one of those incredibly little-known japanoise collaborations. the particulars listed as being "Sponge" are:
Yoshifumi Okuyama
Yutaka Hayami
Hisashi Tanaka
Katsuji Yamauchi
but all four of those are the names of prominent japanese businessmen/doctors. i have it on good faith that the members actually are:
Jojo Hiroshige (Hijokaidan)
Junko Hiroshige (Hijokaidan)
Masami Akita (Merzbow)
Yamazaki Takushi (Masonna)
how could it not be good? anyway, this is the only release they ever did as far as i know. it's super limited by itself, but there is an
even rarer version spattered with blood and with a scalpel blade inlaid in the cover.
