Right now I'm recording with software drum samples labeled 'real drum' which would defeat the purpose of scrapping my drum kit in favour of a machine if it weren't for the samples sounding nothing like a real kit. The software kit has a very warm Cure/Eternal Dust esque tone especially when the snare is baked in tons of reverb. The fruits of my labour is kind of blowing my mind, sounds nowt like the art-punk I've been making recently.
