Ex-Mas Rehearsal thing is THE SHIT. Listening to the Purple One run through the song for almost 30 minutes with The Revolution (on the "Another Lonely Christmas [full band]" track), giving the musicians directions and tearing one epic guitar solo after another, all during an authentic lonely Christmas day, was one hell of a sonic experience. And the sound quality is OFF the motherfuckin' CHARTS. Guy was pretty much untouchable back in the day. HBJ, please bring on the rest of your Prince boots!
