Love GBV and anything Robert Pollard related. Some of their songs do feel kinda more like an idea of a melody and the fact they'll cram so many songs on a record hurts the flow (That really only applies to their later records), but most of the songs are so short it's really never an issue.

I think Under The Bushes, Under The Stars is one of the most genius records I've ever heard. They display more creativity and killer hooks and melodies on that album that most bands do in a lifetime, I think.
