Kurt Cobain didn't use Wah. He used distortion and chorus. That's it. On some of the more sickening In Utero songs it is an EHX Polychorus. On Nevermind it's just an EHX Small Clone.
As far as distortion, he used a ton of different stuff in recording. Live he used a DS-1 and a Sansamp, but between In Utero and Nevermind, I'm sure he used a Big Muff, a Harmonic Percolator, and whatever other gear the studio had. Plus just amp distortion.
