Ed Wood committed fully to his craft and really put his love into every film he made. He fought for artistic integrity for Plan 9! You can't say that about a lot of B-movie directors.

He had a good eye too. It wasn't like he was working with great actors or big budgets. He worked with what he could.

And he was living his dream and was happy for a short amount of time. He kind of withered later on, but the guy had it rough. He didn't really make any of the money from Plan 9- which was actually financially successful.
