I've just heard Beck's version of Green Light and on the first hearing i think it's kinda lame and lazy. Like yeah behind all of Sonic Youth songs there's a melody that could be played on an acoustic guitar and bla bla bla
I don't want to hear Evol unplugged, i'd rather hear him rap on Marylin Moore or whatever. At least bring something original, at least make something gorgeous and beautiful but different out of those beautiful songs.
I'm interested in the concept but since i've not heard a great Beck's song since Odelay or Midnite Vultures, i have little faith in it.
