One very simple thing--without clutter I find things easier. When living conditions are simpler, it's easier to stay organized. I used to probably waste at least a few minutes in the morning hunting for all the shit I needed before I left the house--keys, lunch bag, this folder, that letter, etc. Now there's a place for all this stuff, it's all easy to see, and I just grab it.
