Has anyone read David Simon's book,
Homicide? Incredible! The kind of book that makes you laugh out loud in response to just how
good it is. My first thought after finishing it was why can't Britain produce anything remotely this good, and necessary? As far as I'm concerned, David Simon and Evan Wright (author of the equally brilliant
Generation Kill) are frankly embarrassing a lot of arguably more prestigious writers right now.
