I did have a strange desire to refamiliarise myself with Microdisney recently. This was quickly nullified however after downloading and listening to their album 'The Clock Comes Down the Stairs'.
It's strange to think that such an album was so celebrated in its time, not just by the music press but by me. It makes me quite reluctant to dip back into my favourite albums from that era. I mean, I'd much rather my fond memories of The Railway Children remain intact.
