I'm sure the Bengals begged him to stay. They need as many good players as they can get; somebody getting all egotistic and pissy isn't a good enough reason for them to let him get away.
But the 0-5 aside, they have their good moments this year. They just need to tighten up a little. I seriously belive that if Perry hadn't fumbled that ball on Sunday, they really could have had the Cowboys.
