deleting users in the vBB admin_cp
also deletes the ip trail associated with them. there is a separate option for straight-up ip bans. ip bans are the ONLY WAY to prevent people from coming back and making new names as they please (which I hope they do).
now, maybe I'm not giving Chabib enough credit, and he did both, however I find that hard to believe since you are still posting.
ip banning forces the user being banned to use a proxy (thereby causing post-lag, increasing the effort-to-work ratio and making it NO FUN).
