it is the first truly
heavy record that was produced to sound loud rather then to hide loud sound. and with tracks like electric funeral, war pigs, hand of doom it is an extremely political album [these account for nearly half the record].
also these are the EXACT political issues that are the subject of countless punk tunes and albums from the mid-late 70s and early 80s.
