I think just the fact that they consistently change but continue to make good-to-great albums is particularly noteworthy.

I mean, when I first got into them, they were actually pretty noisey and doing some really weird, dark things.. to see them morph into such a beautiful and melodic unit without "selling out" or having any real major missteps is just mindboggling.

It's just purely good music that I think almost anyone can understand. I don't think there's anything challenging about it, yet it's different enough to not be uninteresting to people like us who have heard all types of experimental bands before.

Just a great band from every angle. And I hardly even listen to them.
