i watched it a few weeks ago since you recomend it all the time.
i loved it. i9 definatly needs multiple viewings but it was great. its so hard to decipher all of the different symbols and allegorys.
in el topo the main one that i got other than the whole resurection and other stuff was the sampson allegory-
*SPOILER ALERT*
when he had long hair he returned to the blind gunman and discovered that he turned to honey, then at the end when he had short hair he turned to honey.
i think im going to see HM and ET a few more times before i move on to his other films...
