Sutcliffe Jügend, named after serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, began in early 1982 as a side-project of Whitehouse member Kevin Tomkins, and Paul Taylor. They instantly gained notoriety as one of the harshest exponents of the original p.e. scene. Extreme, both musically and lyrically, the sheer brutality of Sutcliffe Jügend's music has rarely been equalled. (well... back in '82 maybe
