How do you figure? Not on anything that's going for 3 bucks, I can assure you of that. The only pressing that's going to have the "original sound" is a first pressing, and even those are copies of the master disc. But first copies will have the most faithful reproduction to the master tapes, that much is true.

However, as I said, you're not going to find a first pressing out there that's not enormously expensive, much more than the 25 bucks you'll pay for this deluxe edition. Everything else is going to be a second (at best!), third, fourth, and later pressing.

However, for the deluxe reprint (as is true for many 180 reprints), the engineers went back to the original masters. So what you get on the new reprint is something much like the quality you'd have gotten with a first issue, maybe better, since the quality of the vinyl is no doubt better than the shit they were pressing LPs with in the 70s.
