It's funny, because I think I saw them play in Seattle that year or the year after and some idiot dj from KNDD ("The End") came out to announce them and got booed off the stage. Which was great because they are a horrible "commercial alternative" station that has basically ignored Sonic Youth's records for their entire existence while paying to put "KNDD Presents" on practically every Sonic Youth show to come through the city. It was a joy to realize that Sonic Youth fans in general weren't falling for that bullshit.
