The last track on the new deerhoof cd, there is this eerie'ness, then loud stikes at a diminished chord, dissonance rings out, like some demented church bell from the depths of hell. It made me shriek as I was listening to it in the darkness of night in bed, I was expecting to open my eyes and see the boogie man at my side.
