I saw that Daniel Johnston film a couple of days ago on TV (I'm pretty sure its the same one, but do correct me if I'm wrong) and its really interesting, definitely worth a watch. Made me think very hard about some things, but maybe that's just me...
One DVD I always LOVE to watch is A Hard Days Night.
"it's not his fault he's got a hideous great hooter, and his poor little head, trembling under the weight of it!" - great line!
Also, if you like Pink Floyd, live in Pompeii is pretty good...
