The Taepadong 2 missile has a 5,000-6000 km range, and George Tenet (who may not be the best source on this since he also said there were WMD in Iraq) said that with a light payload, the west coast could be hit, but with low accuracy.

BTW, I was just looking at Tenet's wikipedia profile, and apparently he went to high school with Ron Jeremy. Small world isn't it?
