In what might be the most ridiculous fooforaw (or argle bargle) since Marge Simpson brought Michelangelo's David to Springfield, an award-winning Texas art teacher has lost her job after a fifth grade field trip to the Dallas Museum of Art ended with parental complaints that kids had seen a nude sculpture. Sydney Mcgee, who has taught art for 28 years, was first reprimanded, and then relieved of her duties at Fisher Elementary School, Friday, after the school board voted not to renew her contract. Given this precedent, maybe local science teachers should avoid taking students to the zoo just in case the animals are... you know?
