The new PTV stuff is atrocious.
They have done some things that I consider completely essential though, and I have more PTV records than almost any other artist aside from the Legendary Pink Dots in my collection. For a time in the early to mid-80s, they were definitely one of the most important free-thought musical and extra-musical collectives going.

Force The Hand Of Chance
Dreams Less Sweet
Kondole
Allegory and Self (this is almost a pop LP in many ways, and includes their ode to Brian Jones, "Godstar." Many people think it sounds unfinished and unsatisfactory, but I still love it)


The disc Genesis did with Stan Bingo is pretty great too.
