But it's the sub-plot that matters, about the relationship between the (male) police officer, and his (female) boss.
Think it was an Oscar winner or nominated for it.

it's from Argentina
there's of course a US made remake, but watch the original. Wonderful movie
(even though I usually don't like movies in a language I don't understand)
