the peculiar thing the ft mentioned was that tren the aragua was also in places like colombia and perú but those places were "accustomed to crime" (or something, lol, very funny) whereas chile had been caught by surprise by these fuckers and the cops were a bit disoriented

oh they mention ecuador too but in the list of the accustomed, lol, but ecuador is in another league altogether, being occupied by the cartel right now, insane
