I should have had a physical job interview this afternoon at the company's office. But I got a call this morning that it would be cancelled for today and postponed to next week. Reason: the office is closed because it's today a public holiday! And they had forgotten that the building would be closed for the day
Today, May 5, we celebrate Liberation Day. So if it wasn't for covid there would for instance be music festivals in every major city. But even though it's celebrated every year, it's not always a public holiday, only in lustrum years, which is every other 5 year. Possibly they had postponed it from last year to this year then. Still weird, but oh well. It's actually good for me, I slept like shit last night, neighbors were keeping me awake by chatting on their balcony until after 2AM ....
