I have to admit though that his low-key vocal delivery and the overall atmospherical glum "laziness" (intentional though it may be) do get a bit tedious towards the end. But I was enjoying it a lot for at least the first half of it's running time. Must've been the playful lushness that stood in a strangely harmonic opposition to the vocal stylings and the downtempo mood. And that sweet sax adds a lot. Plus, there are some very effective segues and transitions in there, I'm always a sucker for that. Overall, a good album, not exactly great though.
