And holy crap I can't stop listening to this Breeders album. Now getting to know the songs, the off-kilter ones have seriously grabbed me, like others said. (and yes, Iris has ALWAYS been a serious favorite. I remember seeing this vid on MTV and being so entranced. It really is hard to pinpoint, but this album really does have that certain "charm" to it. Maybe this lineup really does have a certain magical chemistry, not to get all existential and shit, but seriously. There is just something to this.
