As folks were absolutely disgusted that Aphex Twin was in 8mm, and Godspeed in 28 Days.
Mainstream films are shit because they use stock performers and ignore the independents.
An indie film becomes shit if it uses a mainstream artist.
If a mainstream film uses an indie/experimental artist, its supposed quality doesn't improve - that artist merely becomes a sell-out.
"That guy only digs Godspeed because he heard it in a Danny Boyle film."
"Mainstream culture sucks because nobody exposes these ignorant masses to the obscure."
