but this show started with some whedon dna-- cute girl with mysterious superpowers, team of scoobies fighting monsters, compelling nerds, etc.

then i think it got stupid instead of heating up-- too many preposterous plot convolutions, too many characters to track and not enough emotional involvement in any of them, trying too hard to make connections to the marvel franchise, and whedon's trademark snappy dialogue is sorely lacking.

The Avengers got caught up in an inter-galactic war the Kree/Skrull war. these are the alien Kree and Skrull
