Ive read an interview from the composer (I always forget his name, hahaha) where he said that he didnt actually "wrote" the songs for SoR3, instead of that he programmed kind of a generator which will randomly generate machine-like music with parameters he will put into it, like notes etc.
this definately makes clear for me why and how it sounds that much different from SoR, without being too far away ?!!!!
