I guess I can see your point Alan, although Wish You Were Here is my favorite Floyd album simply because Shine on You Crazy Diamond is one of the five songs they must play at my Funeral.
Right now I'm listening to Pink Floyd a Live concert from 6/18/1975 at the Boston Garden. A performance I saw live where the audience clapped for a good ten minutes with the house lights on till they came out for a third encore which turned out to be Echoes.
