They had survived the previous weeks by sharing food. each one got a spoonful of canned tuna, a spoonful of milk, and a tiny bit of water I think A DAY. They rationed it for themselves before they were discovered. messed up man.

*edit* today the Chilean officials finally decided to tell the miners they will be down there for at least another two months....maybe 4
