I think, soundwise, it's more of a continuation of what they were going for on the "This Eclipse EP" (especially TITLETRACK), which is one of my favorite releases. Still, there's just some riffing on here that doesn't do it for me (I mean, almost all the songs are like 5 or 6 minutes long so of course there's going to be some sections that don't do it for me so much). "The Pedlar" is definitely underrated.

Now if only Thinking Fellers would record a new album, the world of weird bendy complex strangely melodic brilliant indie rock would be safe and secure again.
