Any song or piece of music that follows you around?

A while ago i went to a performance of Gavin Bryars's 'Jesus Blood Never Failed Me'.The performance was nothing short of phenomenal and ever since i keep on hearing this piece of music(last time was 2 days ago in a record shop) in different places. It's not the first time that it happened and it won't be the last.

I'm jealous that you've seen this live.

I've heard Kate Bush played in about 5 different places in the last week or so, actually.

I have to say that live it's another thing alltogether.Because of the sound, the way the instruments were lit and the ambience it made it a magical experience.

James Blonde has today Monty Python's "Holzfaeller song" in his head.

fuck, you are right.
the only thing worse than hearing that song is hearing people hum it. it's the worst song i've heard for a long time...
my sister was humming it earlier and throttling her did briefly cross my mind.

The first time I heard that record started crying so hard. I still enjoy listening to it, but the first time that you hear it is something very special indeed, especially if you don't know what's coming/have no prior knowledge of the piece.

That song that goes "A little ditty, 'bout Jack and Dianne..." I hear it all the time, makes me want to shoot myself in the head.

I've never heard that. But if two people think it's so bad I feel I have to hear it.

Random songs follow me around now and then but recently I've been haunted by the opening chords of Belle and Sebastian's "I Could Be Dreaming". The tremolo buzz of the electric guitar followed by the high notes sticks to my ears.

Perhaps its not that odd, because I'm hanging out at bars quite often but Steve Miller's, The Joker is a song I hear a lot. Painfully a lot.

I really don't like Steve Miller.
