was Santa Claus a real person?
my friend's kid has to answer this question for school and i have no idea what to tell him. i have looked it up on the internet and some people say yes and some say no. what do you think? help me.

Coca-Cola actually invented the image of the modern Santa Claus for a advertising campaign in 1931.
Thatīs pretty much all i know about the legend of Santa. Here in Austria we have a so called "Christ Kindl" , translated - "christ-child". i remember my grandmother saying: "This year there wonīt be any presents, the russians shot the christ-child" |

Sinterklaas really did excist. He was some priest from Spain who brought presents to children. And when he died this was the way of honorering him. Wow that must be the crappiest sentence I ever wrote. |
