No, but that's for the notice. Looks like a nice compilation. Don't recognise the Sunburned track so might be worth it for that alone...infact I might buy it to read on the train down TO ATP!!

This month's PLAN B mag has a good CD.
|
That looks like a really good compilation.
Having just celebrated 20 years of existence, I'm sure Ghost will be quite pleased to be referred to as a "new band," heh! Still, nice to see some good folks making good music get some more recognition, even though most have been at it for quite a while now. |
wow, the tracklist looks really good.
|
i loved the john peel top 15 selection. are you talking about the new one with dylan or theres a newer one out?
|
The Sunburned Hand Of The Man track is from "complexion". Awesome album. And available on LP for $ 14? More awesome!

best free cd ever, well after the mojo drug one a few years back....
shame i have to buy that shit mag for it tho. gave up on uncut a while back, they lost it! |
Anyone check out the new WIRE yet? I'm probably getting it for christmas so I didn't go ahead and buy it. The Melvin's are on the cover, it looks great.
|
what's with black mountain? fucking godawful band, as bad as that polyphonic spree band.
yeah, nice cd, my favorite that i have is the james brown that came with the mojo with thom yorke on the cover. |
UNCUT gave away a very good cd of psychedelic bands in about 2003.I've nicknamed it 'the NME with guilt' because it's meant to be a kind of monthly version of that magazine with better writers(Penman,Reynolds write for it occasionally) and a wider scope of music being covered.
|
there was a time in the late 90's and early 00's where uncut was amazing.
